Frequently asked questions
Will it change who's in the photo?
No - restoration locks every person's identity, facial features, expression, pose and the full composition, and only repairs damage (and optionally adds color).
What if I don't want color added?
Turn off the colorize toggle - the photo is still fully restored, but stays black and white.
What photos work best?
Any scanned or photographed print - portraits, group photos, family archives. More visible damage just means more to repair.
What file types can I upload?
PNG, JPEG, or WEBP, up to 10MB.
